Nomad’s Guide to South Island, New Zealand

Go on an adrenaline overdose in Queenstown

Queenstown, being the adventure capital of the world, provides a variety of thrilling adventure activity options right from a basic zip trek and kayaking to the shit-in-your-pants scary canyon swings, shark boating (not diving with sharks but diving as a shark, literally) and river scuba diving. The most enthralling activity for me was the canyon swing and I would recommend you do the Pin Drop fall which involves you falling, nay jumping into the canyon. Since I hadn’t dirtied myself already, I went in for a second jump as well.

The Bottom-line is, if you have an adrenaline fetish and as long as it can be performed out in the public, Queenstown will definitely satisfy your every need.

  7. New Zealand is just so amazing. I feel like I would need a whole year to explore the country properly.

    • NZ certainly is magnificent Adelina! I met many people in New Zealand who were living there for over a year on a working holiday visa, working for 3-4 days of the week and travelling for the rest. Seemed like the best way to see New Zealand for a prolonged time and on an economical budget.

  8. New Zealand is always been my fascination….I will definitely visit there to the land of wonders..
