Nomad’s Guide to South Island, New Zealand

Travel Tips for your self-guided New Zealand Trip!

Best way to get around – Self Driving (Apex Car Rentals)

Trip Planning – I would like to emphasise on the importance of not making a single booking apart from your first couple of nights in New Zealand. For me NZ has been such a place where you never know when you would like to stay back at a particular place for longer or go to a place that you just heard about from someone or read somewhere. Making bookings is very easy at the Visitors Centres that the Government has put up in each and every place. I would encourage you to travel without a plan. Given that New Zealand is the 4th most peaceful country in the world, there is absolutely no threat. (Visitor Center New Zealand)

    • NZ certainly is magnificent Adelina! I met many people in New Zealand who were living there for over a year on a working holiday visa, working for 3-4 days of the week and travelling for the rest. Seemed like the best way to see New Zealand for a prolonged time and on an economical budget.

  8. New Zealand is always been my fascination….I will definitely visit there to the land of wonders..
