10. The Carnival City!
The city of Rio de Janeiro, popular for its carnival and New Year’s Eve parties is a hedonist’s playground that attracts millions of party animals all year round. The party goes on every night and is not limited to the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. The nightlife is characterized by trendy clubs playing the latest disco, house, techno, trance, funk, pop and hip hop music. Famous clubs like Baroneti in Ipanema, Sky Lounge in Lagoa, Melt in Lebion, Hard Rock and Nuth Café in Barra provide endless options for party goers. The beach coupled with the most beautiful people you’ll ever meet makes Rio an exemplary party destination.
Wow, Mykonos as a party destination – I never knew. I had it marked as an idyllic little Greek Island.
Nah, Vegas was dull in comparison to NEW ORLEANS! Have only been to two of your party places. Disappointed in myself.

Hey! Great List! I would like to add one more destination to this list and that is Taipei, Taiwan. With a name that literally translates as North of Taiwan, the capital city of the Republic of China is the diplomatic, financial, governmental and cultural heart of the island. It is made up of 12 districts, ranging from ancient Wanhua to ultra-modern Xinyi, where you will find the marvel of design and engineering which was once the worlds tallest building Taipei 101. It has many facets and is a city where you can discover a little more with every step, around every street corner and at every small roadside cafe, which will definitely make your trip memorable for years to come.
The clubs here, amazing night markets where you can shop for anything and the night food markets to die for, all these things make Taipei a place to must visit at least once in your lifetime.
